Introducing a new gale force on the EDM front. Kodiak Records headed by Peter Hillowe, inaugurates his label with 19 year old upstart Joe Pincus aka Aire Atlantica. Stretching his musical wings first in various rock bands, Joe moved on to djing and producing while majoring in audio production at NY state college. His first North collection gives us our first peak with a banging 6 track EP that opens with the anthemic “Constant North” and doesn’t let up. Progressive, electronic chords peak into pounding beats and grimy, crushing breakdowns of dub and dubstep on all 4 of the instrumental cuts. “Oceans” features up and coming singer/songwriter Kira Metcalf for a Euro-style, big room house stomper and “Serve” gets a reggae-tech work over from NYC Moombahton duo Sazon Booya.
