Following the success of their debut, single, “Shimmer”, NYC’s leftfield/post-disco/indie-dance producers William Lynn (aka DJ Will of notorious NYC gay artzine and monthly dance party Spank) and party boy Bryan Wright, return with their sophomore release for KID Recordings. The New Order influenced vocal meets Detroit/Kevin Saunderson style tech-funk quirkiness is rooted in the house tradition but branches out into dub, broken-beat and Arthur Russell territory nicely. Remixes by Juan Maclean, Richard Morel, DJ Bander, Best Mate and Allies Aceed explore variations in electronic house, tech, dub and acid that are already being championed by legendary NYC tastemakers. Check out Part 2 of the remixes here.
