The fourth Junior Boys LP It’s All True is exciting news leading into summer 2011. A whole album of Jeremy Greenspan and Matt Didemus’ fine, groovy, disco soul with an electronic twist sounds like the ticket. Just like another blue-eyed soul duo, if Hall & Oates had grown up in the house/techno/rave era they’d probably be making some very similar sounds. It’s a bold move to release a 9:00 cut as the album debut but this single influenced by an ice cream flavor bounces along at a steady house pace with Greenspan’s tender vocals, funk synths and gurgle bass without ever getting weary. Minimalist whiz, The Field layers stuttering loops for a hypnotic dub that really moves and there’s more mixes coming soon. Grab a free download of “ep” from It’s All True out on June 14th.

Always good to have new music from the Junior Boys.
Awesome. LOVE The Field mix!! Junior Boys are my boys :) Enjoying this happy vibe they're on. Looking forward to the album.
Happy to see the Junior Boys on here. I'm a huge fan and always support their music. The Field deliver a solid reinterpretation - hypnotic, electronic indie dance. However, it's all about the original - a sexy, percolating summer workout that hits all the right emotional chords.
Brilliant! Love both mixes! I'm a huge fan of The Field!
The Junior Boys Opus remix is a cool vocal mix, and for a dubbed out interpretation, The Field Remix hit's it just right!
