Right after her string of club hits on Maxi, Daphne Rubin-Vega was tapped for the lead, Mimi, with the original cast of the now legendary Broadway production of RENT.  She went on to do movies and more Broadway and is now starring the Tennessee Williams’ Streetcar Named Desire as Stella.
